Our history as producers of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena began over a century ago.
Using the same grapes with which he made wine, great-grandfather Antonio began to produce balsamic vinegar at home, as was the tradition in Modenese families.

When a child was born, it was customary to dedicate a barrel, or a whole battery of barrels, to the newborn child, who, once grown up, would receive a small 'inheritance' of the precious black liquid.

Taking up this ancient tradition, the Fiorini family have been keeping the barrels in their attics for years, taking meticulous care of them every year.
