CARMISTIN The Food Company

Carmistin was founded in 2000 with the desire to bring innovation to the Romanian food industry and more options for the customer. Eight years later, our company changed the direction of its development, following the acquisition of the former Oltchim SA agri-food platform. Avicarvil was born, and with it began the expansion into new business sectors.

After several investments totalling 30 million euros, the platforms became renowned producers of poultry meat. Business was also boosted by the acquisition of production and logistics platforms in the Târgu Jiu region in 2017. Since then, meat production has been extensive, controlled and consistent.
