Our history is rooted in the nostalgic taste of home and the flavours of the Lebanese soul. The great Cortas company flourished in the pine-forested hills of Brummana in 1925. From the delicious apricot jam that began as a local sensation, to the apprenticeship in Ireland that paved the way for a thriving business offering a variety of products. The journey has not been without its challenges. We have thrived, grown and prospered despite difficult events such as the Second World War and the Lebanese civil war. True to its Lebanese identity, Cortas rose like a phoenix from the ashes and continued to shine.

A story of almost a century of heritage and perseverance, Cortas is today a vital necessity for the Lebanese diaspora and other diverse communities. With recipes reimagined and reintroduced, Cortas is the jewel in any day's meal.
