We make limited, socially conscious, handmade eyewear that lasts a lifetime.

Poplar shade is a Benefit Corporation with a strong environment and social committment.
We only use natural or biodegradable material such as natural buffalo horn and bioacetate.
For eache frame produced we plant a tree that can be redeemed and tracked by the user, as well as donating 1% to Comparte Onlus, a Guatemala onlus that grants a free eductaion to locals.
Each frame is made entirely in Italy, from the bioacetate, the bio Nylon lenses, the metallic hinges and wirecores, as well as the wooden packaging and the recycled leather case.

Our goal is to produce a 100% madeinitaly eyewear made to last a lifetime and make a positive impact where it matters the most.
