Terra Beata Farms Ltd.

OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1998 by David and Evelyn Ernst, Terra Beata grew from an undeveloped bog sold in a mortgage foreclosure to a 12-acre cranberry farm on Heckmans Island, near Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. From there, we learned to clean, freeze, process and market cranberries. We still operate the original farm today, as well as a 50-acre farm in Aylesford and a 12-acre farm in Tremont, Nova Scotia.

Our original facility on Heckmans Island produces juice, dried fruit and cooked products sold under the Terra Beata brand in grocery stores across Canada, as well as serving industrial and private label customers.
