The VIJAYA Brazil Nut, ivory in color, covered with a fine brown skin, is native to South America. Its sweet and woody flavor will delight your appetizers and culinary preparations.
Brazil walnut can only survive in the tropical forest. Large brown shells (about the size of a coconut) grow on top of the tree. Once mature, they fall to the ground and are then harvested.
These shells contain about fifteen woody capsules containing the nuts themselves.


HOW TO CONSUME:
Nature, as a snack.
For the aperitif, it is grilled, salted or natural, alone or accompanied (almond, pine cone, walnut, macadamia and/ or dried fruits...).
Whole or crushed, caramelized or as such, it can be incorporated into green salads, compotes or fresh fruit.
Crushed, it fits with savory pies, stews of vegetables, cereals and legumes, meat stews.
Pureed or ground, it is transformed into vegetable cheese or pastry cream (replacing butter).
It is incorporated or sprinkled on desserts: pies, crumbles, brownies, cookies, ice cream and sorbets, vegetable milks, chocolate fondue.
