This false fruit is made up of an infrutescence (multitude of small berries that make up the «eyes» of the pineapple, agglomerated to each other), formed following the fusion of the flowers on the cob.
Tender, soft and fragrant, the VIJAYA Dried Pineapple Slices, originating from Cameroon, retain in full the qualities of fresh fruit.

HOW TO CONSUME:
Nature.
Integrated in the mueslis.
As an aperitif, in small cubes or whole, on the edge of a cocktail glass or fruit juice.
Sweet and salty with white meats (turkey-curry-pineapple, chicken-coconut milk-pineapple, fried pork-pineapple...), on pizzas (Hawaiian pizza), in mixed salads.
As an alternative to sugar, in dairy products
As a dessert, in rice or semolina cakes, in fruit salad (integrate 1 hour before consumption for more mellow), in a tiramisu with exotic fruits, clafoutis.
