Product’s description

CERTIFIED ORGANIC

The «Calabacita» fig is grown only in the region of Extremadura (south-west of Spain).
Small in size and fine texture, this variety is known for its sweet taste and color that recall with finesse those of honey.
It is sold only in dried form because its skin is so thin that when fresh, it would quickly be damaged during handling.
The VIJAYA «Calabacita» fig is harvested in August and dried in the sun.

HOW TO CONSUME:
Nature, as a snack, as an aperitif.
Integrated in a dessert (ex: rice pudding, pies, cakes, cakes, purees or fruit salads...).
As an alternative to sugar, in small cubes, in dairy products and mueslis.
Sweet and savoury, with duck breast or rabbit.
In jams.

CONSERVATION TIPS:
To keep all its qualities, we advise you to store this product in a cool, dry place away from air and light.
