Zagros Figs from Iran, grow gently on ageless fig trees in the arid mountains of Zagros.
The Zagros mountains are the mountain range that marks the border between Iran and Kurdistan.
The arid climate causes them to dry naturally on the tree.
Traditionally grown, the VIJAYA Zagros fig is harvested by hand.
This small fig, from the Persian lands, reveals its intense flavors by rehydrating in the mouth

HOW TO CONSUME:
Nature, as a snack, as an aperitif.
Integrated in a dessert (ex: rice pudding, pies, cakes, cakes, purees or fruit salads...).
As an alternative to sugar, in small cubes, in dairy products and mueslis.
In sweet and salty dishes, in tajines. In jams.
