The date Medjool VIJAYA or «queen of dates» comes from Israel.
It is a large date, brown in color, slightly wrinkled, soft and fruity flesh.
Its color can vary from light brown to dark brown.
This variation depends directly on where it is grown.

HOW TO CONSUME:
As a snack.
As an aperitif, surrounded by a slice of bacon held by a peak topped with a cheese cube.
As an alternative to sugar in dairy products.
In pastries (pies, cakes, cakes, rice pudding, but also date filled with almond paste, energy balls)
In the breads and brioches.
In «sweet-savoury» dishes, in salads (eg: cucumber slices, celery cubes, pecan nuts and date cubes all drizzled with a vinaigrette), in a coucous or tajine.
