The pecan tree can reach up to 40 meters in height and has large and long leaves (35 to 55 cm).
A green and fleshy brou houses its fruit.
Camouflaged in a shell with smooth surface and brown color, reveal the two kernels constituting the pecan (or pecan) nut.
Oval fruit with a fragile shell, the pecan is delicate and refined: this particularly sweet fruit, embellished with a small sweet note, will delight the most delicate palates.
Originally from South Africa, the VIJAYA Pecan Nut will make your tastings very pleasant.

HOW TO CONSUME:
Nature, roasted or caramelized.
As an aperitif, alone or accompanied (almond, hazelnut, macadamia, grape or apricot or other dried fruits...), in canapés or amuse-bouches (glass composed of small diced cucumber, crumbled feta, chives and crushed pecan).
Incorporated in soups, velvets, mixed salads or greens (mash or mesclun, pear, blue and caramelized pecans, all drizzled with a trickle of honey and balsamic vinegar).
At the end of cooking, in a rabbit stew or cooked poultry.
With fish, rice, cereals, pasta, green vegetables (spinach or broccoli).
Integrated crushed in a sauce or stuffing.
In desserts: cakes, four-quarts, biscuits, brownies, cookies, pralines, madeleines, pies, ice cream, tarts (the famous pecan pie or chocolate pecans).
As decoration, on quiches, pies (salty or sweet), tartlets, ice cream, fruit salads, floating islands, cheese trays.
