Pistachio differs from other oleaginous fruits in its green-yellow colour and partially open shell, making it an easy nut to consume.
It is found in clusters on the tree that offers its first fruits only after a decade.
As the core matures, it grows larger to exceed the volume allowed in the shell and crack.
In parallel, their pericarp (fluffy green skin that protects the shell) changes from soft green to pink-violet once the fruit is ripe.
Finesse and subtlety will be the characteristics of the VIJAYA Pistachio Grilled Shell.

HOW TO CONSUME:
As an aperitif, or as a snack, alone or accompanied (almond, hazelnut, walnuts, cashew, dried fruits...).
