Vins de Bourgogne

Burgundy covers 28,841 ha of vines across the regions of Chablis & Grand Auxerrois, Châtillonnais, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais. Its mix of red and white wines account for 3% of all commercial winegrowing in France, with the main grape varieties being Pinot Noir for the red wines and Chardonnay for the white wines. Its climat presents a convergence of Mediterranean, continental and oceanic influences which play a major role in terms of the aromatic richness and global reputation of its wines.
