Vins du Rhône

The Rhône region uses 12 white grape varieties and 15 red grape varieties to produce its 28 appellations and is the second largest French wine region in terms of production and vineyard suface area. With over 71,000 ha of vineyard surface area, 80% of production accounts for red wine, 14% for rosé wine and 6% for white wine.
