Product’s description

Beaujolais covers a vast area of nearly 13,500 ha of vines from the south of Mâcon to the north of Lyon. There are 12 appellations, 97% of which are produced with the Gamay red grape variety. The Beaujolais region presents a diverse terroir: the landscape is characterised by rounded hills in the north and calcerous soils, while to the north the soils are often of sandy and granite origin.
