The mozzarella di bufala is made by our Il Parco caseificio in San Giovanni Rotondo in the Gargano region, using buffalo milk from their own buffalo farms. Il Parco is the only caseificio in the Puglia region to hold the DOP Campana for its mozzarella di bufala: the ultimate guarantee of quality for this product!
Mozzarella di bufala is a spun cheese made from fresh buffalo milk, curdled and processed by hand. It has an elastic consistency and a superb porcelain colour. Once the mozzarella has been cut, a serous liquid escapes, releasing a sweet fragrance of buffalo milk. The texture of the cheese is delicate and slightly creamy, and the taste is incomparable.
This mozzarella di bufala DOP "Campana" is available in different sizes (20g to 3kg).
